MC Barricade kicked off his career in 2014 with performances at local events and clubs, such as Epic in Tilburg and Club Rodenburg in Beesd. His highly energetic performances, unique voice and skilled crowd interaction quickly led to him being noticed and appreciated by many in the industry. This resulted in performances at major events, such as Intents Festival, Defqon.1 Weekend Festival (Blue), Fairytale Festival, Decibel Outdoor Festival, REBiRTH Festival, QAPITAL, Dreamfields Festival, REBELLiON, Elektrum Festival, Dominator, WiSH Outdoor Festival and many more.

Sporting an impressive resumé, MC Barricade has also been the stand-out vocalist for many momentous releases. Examples include hits such as ‘Spoontech Society’ (Official Spoontech Society Anthem), chart-topper ‘Never Surrender’ with Phantom and The Smiler, Official Classified Anthem ‘Break The Silence’ together with Sparkz, and many more.
